Kristi Coombs suggestions on opening new links on a new page or tab. See TO Do in Website email folder.
Need to update KM pages with new coordinator and email address when decision is finalized.
Mention availability of podcasting of IMCB retreat and any teacher via Dharma Seed (RSS Feed) on Recorded Dharma page. Also, Dharma Seed said, "
We've add a Podcast icon ( ) next to every talk -- drag this into your iTunes window and the talk will show up in your player's Podcasts section next time you sync."
Statement from Phillip Moffit's website:
Service Opportunities
A substantial amount of effort goes into ensuring that each class goes smoothly. Sangha members are encouraged to volunteer to help set up before class and straighten up afterwards. You may help on a regular or an occasional basis. Jobs include setting up chairs, hanging Buddha’s portraits, greeting new sangha members, and more. This is another opportunity to practice dana and to serve and participate in the Sangha.

We won't be doing the Q&A in June, July and August and May is iffy.
Activities Newsletter PDF. Create PDF from Ernies's Word document. Name it IMCBActivitiesNewsletter.PDF and FTP it to the Documents folder on the webite server. This file is linked to from the About Us and Calendar pages. DO NOT use Contribute's option for copying the document to the server since it creates a new name for the file in the documents folder, which will cause one of the the links on the website to be incorrect. Do the FTP separately from Contibute only, for example, using AceFTP.
This section contains volatile text that is occassionally removed and later replaced.

The following was removed from About Us/Community Building
- Community Building Work Group
In addition to being a community of Buddhist practitioners who come together to meditate and listen to the Dharma, we are also a caring community, interested in connecting with and helping one another. The Community Building Work Group meets regularly to explore ways to provide connection within the sangha. Currently we are working on three projects:
1. a mentoring program thatl links new practitioners with people who are more experienced in practice
2. an orientation for people new to the Sangha
3. enhancing the membership directory to include skills and services that members have to offer either for pay or on a dana basis.
Everyone is invited to attend these meetings; we are always looking for new ideas and energy. See the Activities Newsletter for the date of the next meeting.
- Membership Directory
The IMBC membership directory is a list of sangha members and their phone numbers, email addresses, and the geographic area in which they live. You may sign up to be listed at the greeter table or by emailing Linda Gallaher with the above contact information. The directory is emailed as a PDF with a security code to those who signed up; those without computers can request a printed copy. We plan to update the directory twice a year.
