Day of Mindfulness, Compassion, and Equanimity

Ready to unplug and recharge? Join us for a day of meditation, good vibes, and self-discovery. This hybrid - (in-person and online) retreat is all about finding your calm, meeting like-minded folks, and diving deep into your practice.

This day will be led by the co-guiding teachers of the Insight Meditation Community of Berkeley, James Baraz and Eve Decker.

Together we will enjoy a day of guided and silent mindfulness practice as well as practices with compassion and equanimity. We will practice, with breaks, from 9:30-12:30, take a one hour lunch break (bring a vegetarian lunch to eat at the monastery or walk to local restaurants) and practice again from 1:30-4. A full day immersion in practices and teachings to support your peace as we move toward shorter days and winter holidays. Suggested donation $30-100; no one turned away for lack of funds. A portion of the proceeds will go to the Insight Meditation Community of Berkeley's community fund. Come as you are, and leave feeling refreshed and inspired!

If you can come in person, we will be meeting at the Berkeley Buddhist Monastery. If you can come online, use this Zoom link: https://us02web.zoom.us/j/89754862173?pwd=GDTpRjULD48T2SDkbuB02Z23JiQz6h.1
